Nemina is the most frequently used takeoff in the middle valley, mainly due to its easy accessibility by car.
Access
By car: A transit permit ("permessino" for Nemina) must be purchased at Alex Bar for €3 per day.
Once there, park respectfully on the grass to the left of the windsock, near the road.
By foot: A 2 to 2.5-hour hike, following the same road.
Winter considerations: The upper section of the road is usually snowy and impassable, requiring you to continue on foot.
🪂 XC Flights from Nemina & Prato Valentino takeoffs: Check the [XContest link] for recorded routes and flight details.
The Nemina takeoff is large, grassy, and spacious, allowing multiple gliders to launch simultaneously. It remains usable even when covered in snow.

The official landing site is located in Bianzone.
🚗 Parking: Park your car at the Bianzone train station, in front of Alex Bar, and reach the landing site on foot.
The landing field is quite large, providing ample space for safe landings.
A windsock is located near the landing area.
Another windsock is positioned about 100m down the valley, on the opposite side of the railway.
